The mission of New Harvest Ministry is Increasing your Faith, Growing the Family, and Building the Kingdom of God through Love, Evangelism and Practical Biblical teaching.
Vision Statement: New Harvest is a multi-Cultural, spirit filled ministry, reaching our city and the world, impacting lives and families through compelling faith, displaying the love of Christ and practical biblical teaching.
We Believe
We believe that all scriptures in the Bible were written by the inspiration of God. The bible is the absolute true word of God.
We believe that there is only one true living God; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as these three are one.
We believe that God gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We believe that salvation is given through Jesus Christ. We believe all who call upon Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior, shall be saved.
We believe in water baptism for repentance of the remission of sins.
We believe in partaking in the Communion of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe God is the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, and the Beginning and the End.
We believe in teaching, witnessing, evangelism, and preaching of the gospel of both the Old and New Testaments.
We believe we are a family of believers and servants of God with the purpose of knowing and being in a relationship with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We believe in spreading the love and gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
Senior Pastor Corey McCoy
Pastor Corey McCoy was born in Augusta, Mississippi. He is the son of Bishop Lavender W. Miles and Julia A. Conwell. He moved and became a resident of Mobile, AL. He received his education through Mobile County Public School System. He later went on to graduate from Faulkner State University. He had been a faithful member of the Word of God Church, Inc since 1996. He has been a dedicated employee of Mobile Area Water and Sewer for over 20 years. He and his wife, Co-Pastor Angelia McCoy, have been married for over 30 years. Through that union, they have 3 sons: Jamarcus, Jamal (Cashena), and Jermaine (Ada), and one granddaughter, Journey.
Later in his life, he received Christ as his Lord and Savior. Shortly after he answered his call into the ministry, in July 2006, he was licensed as a minister of the Gospel. He continued in his hard work and dedication and undergirding the leadership of the Word of God Church Ministry as pastor for 5 years. In 2018, under God’s guidance and direction, Pastor Corey McCoy and his wife, Lady Angelia McCoy established New Harvest Ministry.
Pastor Corey McCoy has dedicated himself to the service and work of the Lord. He has several certificates of achievements and extensive training in Outreach Ministry, Ministry Gifts, and Beginner's Bible Courses. He has served as Chairman of the Trustee Board, Licensed Minister, Youth Leader, Men's Fellowship, and help the enrichment and development of the whole man of God. He is the Founder and Pastor of New Harvest Ministry.
Pastor Corey McCoy is dedicated to the work of the kingdom and the constant enrichment of God's people. He truly believes that "Whom God calls He equips and also qualifies."
Co-Pastor Angelia McCoy
Co-Pastor Angelia McCoy was born in Mobile, Alabama to the late Helen Pettaway and Fred Jackson. She is the youngest of three children. Co-Pastor Angelia McCoy is the wife of Pastor Corey McCoy for over 30 years. They have three handsome sons: Jamarcus, Jamal (Cashena), and Jermaine (Ada), and one grandchild, Journey. She has been a dedicated employee of Mobile Infirmary Medical Center for over 20 years. Co-Pastor Angelia McCoy became a member of the Word of God Church in 1996. Along with serving as First Lady, she also serves on the Ministerial Staff, Women's Ministry, as well as being Ministry Operations Director. She also works along side her husband to head up the Couple's Ministry. In 2018, under God's guidance and direction, she and her husband, Pastor Corey McCoy established New Harvest Ministry. On September 22, 2019, Lady Angelia McCoy was appointed as Co-Pastor of New Harvest Ministry. She helps women to build strong study habits and encourage them to go Deeper with the ministry God has begun in her called DEEPER.
Co-Pastor Angelia McCoy is truly thankful to God for such the opportunity to be called to serve as a mouthpiece to reach God's people and a hand to reach out and serve them is a very humbling experience. God has really proven that whom He calls, He equips and qualifies for it. It is truly His strength and wisdom that enables her to serve in such a capacity, and she counts the experience as an honor and privelege. Co-Pastor Angelia McCoy has had extensive training throughout her ministry with includes: Beginner's Bible Courses, Outreach Ministry, and Evangelistic courses. For the Word of God declares in Proverbs 4:7, "Wisdom is supreme-so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding."
